A hole other story

This is, to say the very least, quite a quirky campaign that had been thought up by the advertising agency to communicate the urgency of being connected to the national cable network. The characters in this interactive ‘Hole Saga’ of four episodes find themselves in everyday situations that are set-up in a not-everyday way. The lonely guy talking to his only friend, a ventriloquist's puppet in the middle of a dark forest, a cyclist trying to cuddle a bunny in the desert – all the characters sport a gaping & gooey hole in their torsos – due to the fact that they are totally disconnected. In a cable-kind-of-way. Sounds weird? It is.

The core of this interactive campaign is to let the user decide over the protagonists fates by either giving them cable or cutting them loose which basically will lead the characters into deep despair or happiness. You have to try it out for yourself to fully understand. Or at least a bit. However mysterious story-telling wise, it is a truly fully integrated project. The digital department worked hand-in-hand with the director, live action & post and made sure that this video-heavy experience ran smoothly, neatly-designed and on all platforms.
